Villa Pontis is an object that so far transcends elements of architecture that we are already used to.
With its special design and stacking form, it alludes to a completely free and clean space that in itself resembles a “bridge” that connects two parts – an existing structure, in the form of a ground floor, and nature located on the opposite side.
In fact, it is a residential building that has already been built on its ground floor but due to the necessary area and manipulative space, a special unit has been upgraded in which vertical communications are located. In addition to them, there are also technical rooms as well as an office.
Upstairs there are as many as four bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, a dining room, a living room and sanitation. The upper floor is positioned in the opposite direction from the ground floor, thus getting a spacious terrace that provides an exceptional view of the mountain slopes and urban structure located in the nearby. It’s precisely because of that view that the whole tarmac is rotating in the direction already mentioned. Both physically and through materialization, we separated two stories and thus contributed to the form itself.
A completely simple look, sometimes knows how to contribute to the experience of space, and one “TWIST” is enough to make this same object unique!
