Duplex XL

If you are a fan of contemporary designed architecture intended for a larger family, then duplex XL is an ideal example of what you need.

With its extraordinary form and toying materials, it leaves a strong seal within the environment in which it is located, and yet, follows trends of a clean, simpler “line” that is slipped through the entire object.

By physically separating two forms, the emphasis is placed on the duality of the object where each part can function completely independently.

In the central part are located all horizontal and vertical communications that nevertheless, in this “joint” allow connection between two blocks, or two wings. If this “joint” is dematerialized, as is the case here, then we are talking about playing shape and function in a very simple and extremely effective way.

By placing the ground floor in a new material, darker coloration, we clearly separate the functions within the object, where inside it the technical rooms are necessary for the smooth functioning of the entire object, but also other supporting facilities that open into their intimate zone, towards the back of the object.

By toying coloring, glass surfaces, and materials, we foresee a function that could be found inside the object, but we also give space to the passer-by to the imagination itself, which would put this content in such a unique concept!
